Based in Auckland and covering the territory that includes North shore to Whangarei, we are seeking an experienced, self-motivated Account Manager to grow our business in the industrial market.

Your prime focus would be to actively win, retain and grow the business in this region and help maintain market leadership. You would be responsible for the sale of Industrial Gases; Welding and Safety products to BOC customers and the role would require an appreciable amount of time on the road.

A demonstrable affinity with or an interest in the product lines carried by BOC is expected and most importantly you will need to be able to demonstrate your abilities in developing strong long term relationships. Evidence of your proven customer service focus and the desire to achieve profitable business growth in a competitive market will be essential.

Your key accountabilities will be to:

Manage an existing portfolio of clients and develop extended business opportunity within
Proactively grow market share within the region
Meet and exceed your sales targets
Build and maintain strong inter-departmental relationships across our business
Deliver an exceptional level of customer service
Have a strong commitment to and understanding of safety requirements

Your key attributes will be:

Strong sales and negotiation skills
Proven commercial acumen
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Understanding of modern business systems
Desire to develop your career with ongoing Sales training
