Fiona Harland FRCSA (Director) After 10 years as a full time Mum to her 3 children Fiona re entered the workforce into the field of Newspaper Advertising in the Hawkes Bay. Upon relocation to Christchurch and having been introduced to Recruitment in her pre children days she was enticed back in 1997 as a consultant for a Global Recruitment Company and went on to become Manager of their successful South Island branch. Fiona built on her success and relocated to Auckland as their Key Account Manager NZ overseeing the service delivery to five top tier accounts in the Energy, Airline, and FMCG, Banking and Commercial sectors. A three year move to Australia saw her recruiting into the Import/Export market and also managing a high volume recruitment project within the FMCG sector.
Returning home Fiona contracted to an internal recruitment centre in Banking & Finance, took some time out to train as an Air New Zealand reservation consultant as well as a secondment to their internal contact centre recruitment team. She returned to external recruitment in 2007 and joined forces with her husband in 2008 with the purchase of Ready workforce that they re branded to ERG Recruitment Group Ltd. Fiona is passionate about encouraging the potential in all people and cannot imagine working in any other industry that offers such cultural diversity and change on a daily basis.
Fiona is a Fellow member of the RCSA demonstrating her senior industry status, experience and contribution to the profession over a period of time.The status permits her to use the post nominal’s FRCSA.
Fiona and John have recently relocated to the Hawkes Bay allowing their team in Auckland to manage the business on a day to day basis. They remain actively involved in the business working on it..not in it!

As a member of the RCSA (Recruitment Consulting and Staffing Association) Fiona has pledged her time to support initiatives surrounding Youth employability. From 2017 - 2019 She was a Trustee for the Youth Development Trust Hawkes Bay operated Under Licence from Graeme Dingle Foundation. She is also a strong supporter of the Youth Employability framework run by COMET Auckland.

Fiona and John have demonstrated their leadership from the front which has inspired a lasting culture of social awareness within their organisation to create opportunities that impact the community in a meaningful and sustainable way, working with a variety of charities to their commitment to youth employment.

In November 2015 John and Fiona were recognised for their contribution to the recruitment industry with a SARA award from Seek. This category, awarded for the first time in 2015, celebrates an inspiring recruiter or industry contributor in New Zealand.

Constantly curious, Fiona seeks out opportunities where she can “Pay it forward”.
She is a passionate advocate for disadvantaged and marginalised members of our communities.
Fiona spent 14 months, on a weekly basis, at Auckland Women's Correctional Facility as a mentor for incarcerated New Zealand women working closely with Annah Stretton's foundation RAW until her relocation to the Hawkes Bay. She maintains a close connection to many of the women that she mentored and continues to advocate and support the work that RAW is achieving.
She has been a volunteer and board member of Dress for Success Auckland the global not-for-profit organisation that promotes the economic independence of disadvantaged women and remains a supporter of the work that Dress for Success achieves across New Zealand and Australia.
In her spare time Fiona enjoys spending quality time with her Grandchildren, Reading, Photography, and Travelling - Business permitting!
