Freight Station Administrator

  • Pay rate of $20/hour, Penrose Location
  • Work hours of Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm
  • Contract role covering 12 months maternity leave

We are seeking an experienced Administrator for a busy Penrose based Transport and Logistics company with a fleet of 45 trucks carrying a range of freight and cargo.

This role is responsible for smooth operation of Freight Station assisting drivers and customers and key duties include:
  • Process document for Import, Export and Tran shipments
  • Assisting the drivers to pick up freight by ensuring they have the correct paper work
  • Assisting Import Co-ordinator with MPI related inspections and fumigations
  • Communicating internally, with clients, and drivers via phone and emails

Successful candidate will possess:
  • Previous experience as an Administrator, ideally from Transport and Logistics industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to multitask and process accurate information
  • Strong computer literacy
