$65,000 - $80,000 p/a plus a company ute, laptop and mobile phone
NZ owned and operated company based in East Tamaki
Our client, has over 30 years’ experience in Industrial Coatings & Sandblasting, with two branches around Auckland, this gives them the capability to take on multiple jobs simultaneously and as a result they have experienced significant growth over the last two years and expect this to continue. Having built their business on a strong reputation for putting in the extra hours to guarantee work is completed on time and to the highest standard they are now seeking a site operations manager to join their team.
This role will be responsible for managing the site teams on a daily basis through hands on leadership and forecasting work flows and resources to ensure maximum efficiencies are achieved, and jobs are completed within agreed time frames and on budget.
To be successful in this role you will require the following attributes and experience:
Strong organisational skills
Excellent communication skills
A drive to succeed and a positive attitude
Experience overseeing up to 4 staff out on site
Familiar with the application of Industrial paints and coatings
Managing pipe line business opportunities and ensuring these are acted upon in a timely manner and scheduled efficiently
Ensuring all jobs are accurately measured and entered into the computer
Adhering to safe work practices which includes ensuring all Site Task Analysis and Site Health and Safety documentation is completed prior to commencing projects
Undertaking quality assurance checks and providing feedback and training as required
Making sure there is adequate resource for each project including staff and materials
