It has been said that once you fall into Recruitment it is hard to fall out!
John & Fiona Harland have been working together in the recruitment industry over 24 years…occasionally for different recruitment companies! With their breadth of life and work experience coupled with an absolute passion and curiosity for people it made sense to create their own boutique agency when the opportunity was presented in 2008.
The foundation of ERG is based on the philosophy of Maslow's 5 hierarchy of needs. Physiological needs, Safety needs, Belongingness & Love, Esteem needs and Self actualisation.
The compass of ERG stays true to these philosophies in the hope that their staff and the candidates and business that the ERG team support will become the best they can be.
Ethics play a crucial part in the DNA of ERG Recruitment. Not only is the business a corporate member of the RCSA, the peak body for the recruitment and staffing industry in New Zealand and Australia, but John Harland was awarded Fellow (LIFE) membership status in 2018 and Fiona is a Fellow. These post nominals indicate senior industry status, experience, and contribution to the profession over a period of time.
All ERG staff complete a code of professional conduct to remain actively engaged in upholding the integrity of the recruitment industry.
